Screw what others think!

I need to cut down on the 'hmm' moments in life. 'Yes' and 'no' leave you in a much better position. In almost all contexts. 'Hmm' with an ellipsis, 'hmm' with a question mark, the I'm-wondering-what-to-do/say 'hmm', the I-don't-agree-with-you 'hmm', and all the other 'hmmmms' just suck! Oh, this one with the extra 'm's is the worst.

Haha.. this day turned out to be the exclusive M day. :D

Hmmmmm!
:P

I usually say "I think so" in confirmation and "I DON'T think so" in negation! :D. Completely forego the "yes" and "no".

Hmm...
I think Yes / No is so drab. On the other hand, "Hmm" with all it's exclamation / question / disapproval through modulation is so expressive and versatile. I'll go with "Hmm".

Jas,

I don't remember the thought that triggered this post. :P

Subhadip,
Your 'hmm's are anyway legendary. :D

hmm...I agree with Subhadip. :)

This post reminded me of a friend who nicknamed me 'the humming bird' because my life is full of 'hmm' moments :-/
